HOW TO STYLE LACE UP HEELS

Lace up heels have been a wardrobe must-have for the past few seasons and they’re not going away any time soon. If by now you haven’t got a pair of these as your go-to heels, it’s time you updated your shoe-drobe with some ’17 sass.
How to Wear Lace Up Heels
We stalked our fave bloggers on Instagram to get the low down on how to wear lace up heels.
Pink Prinny
Pastels for spring go together like brownies and ice cream. Time to leave this winter weather behind and get excited for the upcoming months. If you can’t wait for the warmer weather, mixing some greys into your outfit will have you super sassin’ those princess vibes.
Our Juliette has the most gorge frayed detailling on the end of the laces. You can tie these at the back if you want to draw some attention away from the shoe, but if you’re making a statement with those lace ups, tangle the laces round your ankle and tie them at the front of your foot for an all-eyes-on-the-shoe look.

Mixing textures is a fab way to add some more variety into your outfits. Out are the rules you can’t mix textures and our gal @lilchen_1 is showing us exactly how to work lace, suede and satin.
Keep the colours the same – black will always be the easiest way to do this – and have a play around at wearing some different fabrics together. Lace the ADRIANA low but keep the bow oversized for an ultra feminine feel.

Rock Chic
This ultra girly skirt would look best with a leather jacket and a simple yet statement shoe. If you’re going for a maxi with a split, there’s no hiding away those shoes, so make sure you select wisely. Our SERINA lace up is a simple and classic barely there style, and the stiletto heel adds an elegant look.
This one’s for a dinner date night, teaming the elegant shoes and skirt together is a fail safe option. Adding in the black jacket just finishes off the look giving it an edgy vibe. Dress to impress, girls.

Satement Sassin’
This girl knows statement sleeves are so major RN. Taking a classic white shirt and spinning it with new trends will never let you down – and we all know our clothes should just never let us down. Teaming it with an understated black skirt means more focus on those ornate heels, and we’re all about those details that make your outfit.
The CASEY is just the right height for everyday wearing, and with that statement heel it means you can keep everything else simple, but it will always look like you’ve made a real effort with your outfit. Lace ’em low with a leather mini for the look of super long legs and keep it casj on top. The Casey is the perfect day to night shoe you need in your life.

Put ’em High
If this outfit doesn’t get your dreamin’ of summer, then literally nothing will. Raised hem lines with lace up heels is the only way to do summer nights. Get those shoes laced up high and let your pins do all the talking. Nude lace ups will always work best for this, so there are no bold colours to take the attention away from your legs
If you’re wondering how to wear lace up heels the minimal way, then this will be your ultimate go-to look. A simple plain dress will always work best for this, and leave your make up and accessories simple. Full focus on the shoes is the look you want to go for!

Double Denim
Some say double denim is a major fashion faux pas, but we’re loving this look of dark distressed denim contrasted with a washed out blue jacket. Casual is sometimes the only look for the day, but adding the lace up YARA shoes will mean you can be prepared for all situations if the gals decide to go for some well earned drinks after a tough day of shopping.
The lace up shoe got a new trend added when the twisted PERSPEX HEEL was introduced. Perspex has been having a real moment this season, adding just the right amount of sparkle to an outfit but without going full on glitter. This is the perfect shoe to add to your casual double denim clash.

All Black Always
You can literally never get it wrong with an LBD. Every girl has a back up black dress for all those unplanned nights where you need to grab something from your wardrobe quick time – just call it Lessons Learned From Last Min Nights Out. Styled with a black lace up PEEP TOE and a nude lip is just adding more sass to that ‘I just threw this on’ look.
The CHRISTINE is not your conventional lace up shoe, with the sock boot lining and the lace up over the top it does mean that it’s a bit more secure for dancing your Saturday night away. We would strictly say that this is a night out shoe, we mean if you can rock a stiletto heel like that in the day, you’re a sassier gal than us.

White Noise
Nudes and neutral tones have been big news on our radar for a while now – best thing about this colour palette, it seriously highlights your tan, so this is how to wear lace up heels after a holiday. A cropped cigarette trouser is an amaze alternative to a skirt or dress for your Saturday night out. The cropped leg means there is always room for your lace ups without having to lace them over your trouser.
Either take some inspo from @SALOMESYLVANA and wear it with a crop top in the same colour, or wear a plainer top but with a flute sleeve for some contrast between your slim trouser leg. Lace your heels to sit just under your trouser hem – you can always turn them up if you want a higher lace up look.
